Answer
The Climate Data Utility is being developed on the recommendations of the CDSC and works closely with the UNFCCC with a view toward future integration - for example, aligning with UN jurisdictions and accessibility requirements. Incorporating data from the Climate Data Utility into the UNFCCC Non-State Actor Zone for Climate Action (NAZCA) will support increased integration of private sector commitments and progress within the UNFCCC stocktaking and recognition processes. The UNFCCC Executive Secretary serves as a CDSC Principals Member and the UNFCCC chairs the Climate Data Expert Advisory Panel.
